Here you can find the explanation of the scoring methods for 101, 8 Américain, Crazy Eights and Mau-Mau as well as the explanation of the winning rule when no scoring method is used.

101

After someone has played all their cards, the round ends and each player adds the individual values of their remaining cards in hand to their score. If someone has more than 101 points, the game ends and the player with the fewest points wins the game.

The wild cards are special: if they are the only card in your hand at the end of a round, they add 40 points (spades) or 20 points (hearts, clubs, diamonds) to your score. However, if you discard a wild card as the last card at the end of the round, those points are deducted from the score instead. If you have a wild card and one or other card in your hand, they are scored normally.

Special cases are when a player reaches exactly 100 or 101 points. At 100 points, a player's score is halved to 50. At 101 points, a player's score is completely reset to 0.
